Starting in 2001, the Tribeca Film Institute championed storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. As the educational and funding nonprofit operating alongside the Tribeca Film Festival, the now-shuttered institute identified exceptional filmmakers and media artists and empowered them to connect with audiences.
The Tribeca Film Institute’s 2019 Fall Benefit made exemplary use of our Event Ticketing page, especially the great flexibility in ticket sales, with customizable ticket categories (e.g. Get Packages, Get Tickets, Sponsor This Event) and ticket tiers. It raised more than $167,000.

Nonprofits have full control over ticket prices, quantities and descriptions, with room for an optional “additional donations” field. Behind the scenes, nonprofits can set fixed availability date ranges, tax deductible amounts, automated thank-you emails/tickets/receipts for each ticket price and a maximum number of seats for group tickets. There is also a chance to collect additional ticket purchaser information via questions asked before or after checkout.
