Meet: Jada Moore, Give Lively Technical Implementation Specialist
From time to time we will profile members of the Give Lively team, revealing more about who we are, what we do and how we fit into a mix of dedicated and dynamic engineers, creatives, strategists and advocates helping nonprofits do more with digital fundraising tools.
Like the person who is the focus of this week’s profile, the full Give Lively team is passionate about using tech for social good and providing a better fundraising experience to nonprofits and donors.

What do you do at Give Lively?
I am a technical implementation specialist at Give Lively. I provide support for different integrations we have with third-party software like Salesforce and Zapier. I also work and build relationships with other nonprofits around additional services..
What does a day in your life at Give Lively look like?
The majority of my day is spent on support cases for members. Because integrations sometimes require more troubleshooting than normal cases, I often have video calls to help resolve issues. This is a great way for me to see up close how different nonprofits use our integrations.
I also actively reach out to member nonprofits to assist with their needs and learn important information about how they best use our products.
Give Lively puts importance on professional development, so I use some of my time for lessons on third-party products that we use. Being able to work on receiving certifications is a great motivator for me.
From time to time, I meet with our product and engineering team to discuss feature updates and fixes, and advocate for what our members think is important, especially regarding our integrations.
What do you like to do outside of Give Lively?
Outside of work, I like to stay active by playing pickleball or ping-pong, or walking along the beltline in Atlanta, Georgia. I have a dog, Panko, who I like to take to dog parks where we both make new friends.
When I’m home I enjoy games that require a lot of movement, like Dance Dance Revolution or virtual reality games. When I’m looking for a more relaxed time, I watch movies and anime, practice the piano and cook vegetarian dishes. Occasionally I am motivated to create new crochet pieces. I find a lot of fulfillment in creating my own things.
What excites you about Give Lively?
What excites me about Give Lively is the opportunity to speak with nonprofit organizations on a regular basis. Learning about a nonprofit’s mission and fundraising efforts can be very inspiring. I also enjoy learning about software, so focusing on integrations increases my knowledge about different products. My coworkers make it easy to want to work at Give Lively as well because we all support each other. With such a diverse team, it really helps to have different perspectives in the workplace.
