The New York Women’s Foundation creates an equitable and just future for women and families by uniting a cross-cultural alliance that ignites action and invests in bold, community-led solutions across New York City. Critically, the way its torchbearers carry out philanthropy — with transparency, respect and partnership — is as important as what the foundation funds.
The Foundation’s online fundraising efforts are supported by several Give Lively products, including Campaign Pages with an associated Event Ticketing page and Text-to-Donate code. The foundation has also

In 2019, the New York Women’s Foundation’s annual Celebrating Women Breakfast raised nearly $1.75 million. And they didn’t stop there — over $1.3 million in donations have been made to the nonprofit through Give Lively-powered Campaign Pages.

Text-to-Donate and Live Display in action at an event
Text-to-Donate, our mobile-first method for capturing contributions when donors are on the go, delivers a link to a user’s phone, allowing donors to give through a secure web page. In this case, at the Foundation’s 2019 Celebrating Women Breakfast, there were multiple onsite prompts to text “CWB19” to 44321 in order to give. They came as spoken reminders, on printed materials and, especially, via Live Display, a projected progress thermometer that works in tandem with Text-to-Donate and is ideal for live and virtual events.
Peer-to-Peer Fundraising page that far exceeded its goal
The New York Women's Foundation Team motivated philanthropic outreach by individuals, sometimes on teams, using our peer-based fundraising tools. Karen Choi's fundraiser nearly tripled her goal of $10,000.
