You’re “free”? What’s the catch?

No catch. There are no setup fees, no platform fees, no membership or subscription fees, no cancellation charges, no annual or monthly fees and no hidden Give Lively fees. If you’re free, how does Give Lively stay in business?

Our founders are committed philanthropists. They cover our operating costs so that we don’t have to charge, in keeping with their goodwill vision of digital fundraising. We also accept voluntary tips from donors. Learn more about our founders’ rationale and about voluntary donor tips.

“Free” can mean “poor quality.” How are you different?

The perception that free means lower quality is a known psychological phenomenon called the price-quality heuristic. But it’s an oversimplification. And in our case, it’s false. Give Lively was the first platform of its kind to offer its services for free to nonprofits. And we’ve been so successful, others have copied us.
