What do you do at Give Lively?
As a senior customer support specialist at Give Lively, I focus on assisting nonprofits in the utilization of our digital fundraising platform to its fullest potential. I work directly with our member nonprofits, helping them navigate our tools and providing solutions to any challenges they face while using us. Whether it’s setting up donation pages, creating customized fundraising campaigns or offering guidance on integrating our platform with other systems, I’m here to ensure they have a smooth experience.
What does a day in your life at Give Lively look like?
On a regular day at Give Lively, I monitor our support channels and answer questions, transferring cases to the right team and hopping in meetings to discuss how we can improve our technology. Being a part of the customer experience team means I have the privilege of hearing directly from our members about what they want out of the platform, and an important part of my job is to compile all of the feedback and pass it along!
What do you like to do outside of Give Lively?
Outside of work, I like to invest in my hobbies and build community. Music is a big part of my life so when I have the chance I like to attend music festivals or concerts with my friends. Beyond that, I believe in trying things at least once, so one day I’ll take a pottery class and the next day I’ll attempt horseback riding. I think it’s important to step outside of your comfort zone and try things you wouldn’t usually do.
What excites you about Give Lively?
What excites me the most about Give Lively is working with a team of people who truly want to do good and make a positive impact in the world. I get a great sense of purpose out of helping nonprofits raise funds through a free service so that they can, in turn, help the community. It makes my job enjoyable.
